Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associated of Applied Science in Radiologic Science minimum Licenses: Licensed by the state as a radiation operator; Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist Certifications: BLS; ACLS - obtained within 6 months of hire Minimum Work Experience Minimum of one year imaging experience or experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab - preferred Required Skills Must be able to meet requirements of departmental on call policy. Required critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
